Relief From Joint Pain Without Surgery

Ruth K. had developed a severe pain in her right shoulder. It had gotten so bad that she couldn’t even put on her jacket. Other doctors prescribed her painkillers and were recommending invasive surgery, so she came to me to see if she had any alternatives. An MRI showed that she had a torn ligature, for which I recommended that Ruth try Reconstructive Therapy (RT), a non-invasive procedure involving a series of local injections. Ruth agreed, and we started her 12-week course. She started feeling better right away, though, and continued beyond the minimum 12 to reinforce the healing.
That was back in 2003. I met her again eight years later, in 2011. She told me the pain hadn’t returned since, and that she was not only back to doing everything normally again, but could do yoga positions that involved significant opening of the shoulder joint. Ruth even showed me: in a split second, she had joined her palms together at her back, up between her shoulder blades, with no effort at all, and with a big smile. And I was reminded of why I got into this field in the first place.
