Chakra-Gemstone Therapy
Gemstones have been used in the form of ornamental jewelry for thousands of years. Gemstones in addition to being cosmetic are also thought to be guides that focus energies and help individuals wearing them to be more balanced more focused in more in touch with the surroundings.
It is thought that Gemstones, which are various forms of crystals, have a strange and unknown ability to focus universal energies. The exact means by which Gemstones are able to focus the energy is still unknown. These crystalline structures can collect, focus, and even emit electromagnetic energy. The field of science recognized many years ago that a crystal was placed in a field of energy, it will collect and focus the energy. Of all the Gemstones quartz is best known as the master gem. Scientists know that quartz is composed of silicon and oxygen molecules, which in a combination become the building blocks of minerals. It is believed that mineral crystals have unique and individual influences, functions and vibrations. It is said not all crystals are alike. It is important to remember that the energy within the gem can be tapped into while being worn, only if the wearer has a high expectation of this occurring. It’s as if the gem and the person are synergistically working together. It is also been found that natural Gemstones and crystals being purer have a stronger power than synthetic crystals

Basically, the individual places the Gemstone over the chakra and if the person feels comfortable and has a sense of wellbeing, then he/she should leave the Gemstone in place. If though, he/she doesn’t feel just right, the Gemstone should be removed and replaced with another option.
